Summary:
The JD Edwards Developer will be responsible for the primary technology and will have a major impact and influence on the success of its businesses. Our ideal candidate will have broad experience in corporate systems and a passion for business process design and development. In addition to a vision and passion for transactional processing, the individual in this role must be a strong people leader who will develop and mentor staff.
Project Details:
- Interface with business partners and IT business analyst staff throughout the development lifecycle of multiple and concurrent activities, projects, and system implementations to analyze business requirements and develop detailed technical plans and specifications.
- Responsibilities will include ensuring that the architectural, business, coding, design, and quality standards for the J.D. Edwards applications/reports are met. *Leverage existing tools and participate in the application and development of new tools
Job Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (i.e., information systems, computer science)
- Master's degree strongly preferred
- Knowledge & Years of Experience: 10+ years – experience in a business functional area or with IT systems
- 3-5 years' experience in designing and configuring business processes within the JD Edwards E1 Finance and Distribution modules along with deep knowledge of the modules' business processes
- Strong familiarity with the JD Edwards data structures, menu configuration, UDC, version lists, function configurations and overall process functionality
- Strong documentation skills including user requirements, designs, presentations, and process flows
- 7+ years' experience in multiple ERP implementations with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne v. Xe-9.0 in the E1 Finance and Distribution modules
- 3-5 years of experience in supporting project business case development
- Business Process Re-engineering
- Use of SQL and report writing tools
- Project management
- JDE certifications (any modules)
