To reduce business process complexity and cost, a global manufacturing company initiated a major SAP™ ERP and Apriso™ MES consolidation project across 23 factories in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Our client had multiple instances of SAP, plus Infor and Mapics legacies. The goal was to deliver a common ERP system template for all business divisions worldwide. They chose Oxford Global Resources to provide the consultants needed to support the international rollout.
Over a three-year period, our consultants helped our client to prepare and manage the change management and communication approach, inclusive of planning, preparations and delivery. For the system template build and global rollout execution, we provided functional and localization consultants for factories located in Germany, Denmark, Italy, France, Spain, United States, Brazil, India and China. Our consultants also supported super user training and go-live stabilization services.
At the end of the project, the client was able to establish a uniform business process with a single SAP instance to simplify their day-to-day workflow. Their new system spanned across the globe, and all were able to work on a common platform. Finally, all of the client’s employees (more than 25,000) were on the same page.
