The Challenge

Our client, an American clothing retailer, was implementing Blue Yonder™ for its Merchandise Lifecycle Management (MLM). However, this was new software that their in-house employees lacked experience with. To assist with the project management and implementation, they required outside support. They reached out to Oxford Global Resources due to our long-standing relationship and proven history of success. ​

The Solution

Oxford provided a seasoned Project Manager and three ETL Developers experienced with warehouses and ERP systems to assist with project management and integration. These individuals also had experience in retail environments, so they were particularly suited to the project. They worked on packages, deployment, analyzing and integrating data sources, data analysis, and management of third-party integration partners.​

From a technical integration standpoint, the project was very complex. The consultants had to manage integration between Blue Yonder MLM, Softeon™, and Microsoft Dynamics AX, along with the coordination of three different vendors. These individuals leveraged their excellent people skills, understanding of the requirements, and strong ETL development to achieve the project goals.​

The Result

The Project Manager and ETL Developers helped the client complete the first phase of the implementation and continue to support their efforts through phase two. Although the project was in a difficult spot, these experts were able to come in and get the initiative back on track. The client is pleased with the value-add our resources brought to the table.​
