Our client was launching multiple, parallel AI initiatives as part of a broader digital and AI transformation program across their energy operations. These initiatives spanned generative AI, advanced analytics, and cloud-based platforms, all of which required close coordination among IT, data teams, and business stakeholders. While the organization had a clear AI strategy and strong domain knowledge, it lacked sufficient in-house senior project and technical leadership with GenAI experience to deliver these initiatives on time. Because several projects were starting at once, the client needed skilled professionals who could support them.
Solution
We partnered closely with the client to pair them with the right talent to achieve their goals:
- GenAI Project Manager: acted as the IT Project Manager for a core AI program, orchestrating IT teams to deliver all use cases on the client’s roadmap
- Project Manager: AI & Analytics: led complex AI, analytics, and cloud-related initiatives end-to-end, ensuring alignment across AI platforms, analytics solutions, master data, and enterprise integrations.
- AI Technical Lead/Architect/Solution Architect: managed and mentored multi-disciplinary teams of data engineers, data scientists, and ML specialists in an agile environment; overseeing delivery of AI solutions, including models, data pipelines, and infrastructure, aligned to enterprise standards with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
By combining deep technical expertise with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, our consultants played a pivotal role in advancing the program.
Result
With our senior project and technical leadership support, the client executed their AI strategy across a complex environment. They successfully accelerated the adoption of generative AI and advanced analytics, strengthened enterprise-wide AI architecture on Microsoft Azure, and reduced delivery risk during a critical phase of transformation.
