Situation
Our client was in the process of implementing SAP IS-Oil to improve processes, automation, and efficiency for their energy business. Implementation efforts impacted 1,500 employees in multiple divisions across 36 geographical sites. As a result, our client needed a partner to create and execute an OCM strategy that included communication, content creation, and training.
Solution
Oxford provided a Training Lead and ten trainers to assist with the client’s training efforts across the impacted SAP workstreams. The team worked closely within each workstream to create the materials needed to support both training delivery and end-user adoption, including job aids, reference guides, participant materials, facilitator guides, and sustainment tools. They also developed SAP Enable Now simulations to give users practical support in the workflow, helping reinforce learning through go-live and Hypercare.
Result
Oxford helped the client build and deliver the training program needed to support user readiness for go-live. We came in under budget while meeting all deliverables, providing the client with added capacity, SAP training experience, and practical learning resources to encourage adoption across a large and distributed audience. The client retained key Oxford personnel to continue to provide high touch support for critical workstreams; and through training documentation, simulations, delivery support, and post-go-live reinforcement, we helped the client move forward with a stronger training foundation for the new system.
