SITUATION

Our client, a leading global chemical company, frequently undertakes short-term projects that involve replicating facility build plans at multiple locations. However, they have faced challenges in finding reliable vendors to support these initiatives. After we reached out to the Vice President to congratulate her on a separate achievement, we established a strong professional relationship. The VP subsequently shared our information with other company leaders who required assistance with these short-term projects. SOLUTION

We began an engagement with one of our client’s end users at their customer site. We assigned a highly experienced, senior-level Field Construction Manager (FCM) to oversee a small construction project at a mining facility in Arizona. Our consultant was responsible for supervising 10–20 contractors to ensure the successful completion of the project within four to six months

The consultant’s responsibilities included hiring, terminating, and coaching the client’s on-site personnel, maintaining focus among all team members, and proactively addressing any issues that arose. Their role also encompassed the following key objectives:
