This client faced a tight project deadline from a European OEM.<\/p>\n<p>To show any discrepancies or issues with the actuators and sensors in the air suspension system, a safety monitor needed to be developed. The software had to meet ISO 26262 and ASIL B requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The client did not have sufficient Software, Functional Safety or in-house MISRA compliance knowledge to perform the tasks and meet the tight six-month project delivery deadlines.\u00a0 Without Oxford\u2019s assistance, the project deadlines would not have been met.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"case-study__solution\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;\">\n<div class=\"h3\"><strong>The Solution<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-solution field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p>Oxford reached out to the client offering our services and expertise. The client did not have a history of using contractors. However, due to their tight deadlines and Oxford\u2019s ability to source the necessary expertise, the client agreed to partner with us.<\/p>\n<p>Within 48 hours, Oxford provided a senior-level Software Development Engineer with extensive automotive experience and the client selected the candidate after a short interview. Upon completion of the initial contract period, the client extended the working relationship until all project deadlines were met.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"case-study__results\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;\">\n<div class=\"h3\"><strong>The Result<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-result field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p>Due to the quick reaction, quality of candidate, and regular communication with the client, the project was completed by the six-month deadline. Aside from successfully completing his own tasks, the consultant was able to guide and mentor the client\u2019s internal team.
