Summary:
Responsible for executing a complete embedded software development lifecycle. The goal is to create scalable and optimized Firmware software systems.
Project Details:
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
- Review code and design
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
- Integrate and validate new product designs
- Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
- Provide post production support
- Interface with hardware design and development
- Assess third party and open source software
Job Experience:
- Hands on experience in Embedded C Programming with RTOS based Application Development, Testing, Debugging, Verification and Validation, for 16/32 bits Microprocessors/ Microcontrollers required
- Proficient experience on Embedded Software Development for Industrial Applications, Applications Porting from one Platform to other, Communication Protocols (RS232/RS422/RS485, Modbus, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) required
- Working experience on RTOC uC/OS-II will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with development and testing of Board Support Packages for RTOS
- Experience in Software Development through Agile SDLC
- Able to create and execute Test Cases as required and prepare Test Reports
- Able to participate in design review, code review, Test cycles as required
- Familiar with using various Configuration management tools (SVN, JIRA), Requirements Tracking (DOORS, Confluence), Jenkin Build Framework etc.
