The Challenge<\/strong>
\nThe client\u2019s EHR system was no longer supported by the vendor and it had become too customized to support effectively. Additionally, the Hospital and the Ambulatory systems did not communicate well with each other and patient information was not crossing between them efficiently. After a system selection process, they chose Epic as their enterprise EHR system. To compound the situation, the client is located in a small town with a limited resource pool. They were challenged with supporting the demands of the new project and maintaining the legacy system. To accomplish their objectives, they sought a partner who could provide skilled resources and the necessary oversight for the volume needed.<\/p>\n
