They needed to migrate their legacy e-mail system with on premise data centers to a modern system using the Amazon Web Services\u2122 (AWS) GovCloud\u2122 region. The solution was required to be highly available, ITAR compliant, and with fully managed e-mail services to meet their specific business requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Solution<\/strong><br \/>\nOur team worked with the customer for more than six months to migrate their self managed Lotus Notes\u2122 email system from three on premise legacy data centers to a fully managed Microsoft Exchange\u2122\/SQL Server\u2122 solution deployed on the (AWS) GovCloud region. Our solution included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Configuration<\/li>\n<li>Support<\/li>\n<li>Migration<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Software licenses<\/li>\n<li>Third-party tools<\/li>\n<li>24\u00d77 US based ongoing support and maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our solution also used a per user monthly fee pricing model as well as adhered to the AWS best practices and recommended architecture guidelines and principles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Result<\/strong><br \/>\nOur team\u2019s solution resulted in an overall 25% cost savings with all Microsoft licensing costs on a consumption based flexible model. The systems delivered 99.9% availability and increased the level of platform security.
