SITUATION<\/b><\/p>\n

A Life Sciences start-up needed a resource with AWS security knowledge to perform a gap audit of their AWS environment. This project required a user-based VPN authorized by Microsoft Active Directory and managed on EC2\u2122. Oxford, having expertise in AWS VPC build and solution architecture, also had a five-year history of delivering reliable support to the client. Since the client lacked in-house AWS knowledge, they relied on Oxford to complete the project and avoid several application license expenditures, reduced support, and significant security issues.<\/p>\n

<\/b>SOLUTION<\/b><\/p>\n

Oxford created a dedicated and skilled team to support the client through project management, AWS environment assessment, and weekly status reports. The AWS assessment aimed to identify the end goal – from current environment to production environment – and included scalability for higher usage periods, security and network experience, cloud formation, and disaster backup and recovery. We provided expert resources for all project phases, including development and deployment.<\/p>\n
