The Challenge<\/strong>
\nAn innovative wearable technology manufacturer often needed consultants with highly specialized skill sets to provide their expertise on unique projects. Each time, they turned to Oxford because we\u2019ve had a long history of providing them with the high quality talent they need \u2013 since 2001, in fact. On one recent occasion, our client needed a consultant with experience working with CSR (Cambridge Silicon Radio) in order to meet a development deadline.<\/p>\n

The Solution<\/strong>
\nFollowing our client\u2019s Thursday afternoon call, we identified a qualified and available consultant within 24 hours. Once the client approved, the Oxford team made the necessary travel arrangements for the consultant to be on-site on Monday morning. Because CSR is a niche product, our ability to fill the position so rapidly was exceptionally beneficial in enabling our client to maintain their project schedule.<\/p>\n

The Result<\/strong>
\nAlthough the engagement was originally meant to last only three days, the consultant\u2019s expertise was seen to be so useful that our client extended the assignment for six months so that he could support the product\u2019s development up to its delivery deadline. The deadline was met and our client was very pleased with the consultant\u2019s contributions to the project.
