A global leader in aluminum and renewable energy needed to unify their business processes throughout the company. The goal was to roll out Microsoft Dynamics™ AX software to 80 sites in 44 countries in order to increase transparency and reduce operational complexity. However, midway through the project, the client was still struggling to find the right IT talent to help them deliver a common global template through their current supplier.
A project of this magnitude required excellent communication and coordination so that all 80 sites could work together seamlessly. A full team was established that included a Program Manager, Project Manager, Senior Manager, Solution Architect, Technical and Functional Experts, and a Developer. Each of our consultants helped keep the scope of the project on track, on time, and on budget. In total, 30 consultants were ready to support the deployment in multiple countries, including China, France, Hungary, Italy, Sweden, and the United States.
Consultants on the team were selected not only for their expertise with Microsoft Dynamics, but also for their ability to create localized implementations that would align on a global scale.
