    Client is looking for experienced FPGA designer with at least 12 years related experience for High Speed and DSP applications on FPGAs and/or ASICS.  Support chassis/hardware/board level requirements review with systems and hardware engineering organizations.  Support development of top level architecture development and system sizing for FPGA designs.  Develop and document derived requirements and module decomposition for the Buyer’s FPGAs.  Typical DSP applications may include: communications functions, modems, digital receiver, digital equalizers, clock and carrier recovery, Costas loops.

    Job Description:
    The candidate will be responsible for creating a windows kernel mode driver for Windows XP and Vista by porting an existing toolkit to it, implementing new features, and debugging it by using C/C++, kernel mode tools such as WinDbg, and other available tools.  The candidate should be able to design & architect Windows kernel mode drives and have knowledge of communicating with Flash based products or external storage through various interfaces and adapters.  Experience with Windows kernel-mode driver development is a must and Windows installable file system kit is desired.

  • 3+ years of experience with mature web application frameworks such as Tapestry/Struts, Hibernate persistence model (or other JDO/ORM technologies) and Spring AOP is required and/or preferred.

  • Experience in troubleshooting application server and network issues, particularly dealing with large scale clustered environments supporting a relatively large volume of user connections.

    ASIC Engineer

    Job Title:
    ASIC Engineer

    Job Location:
    Sunnyvale, CA

    Job Description:
    Design, simulate and debug large complex ASICs.  Key responsibilities include micro-architecture, implementation of the design and ownership of the chip development schedule.  Work on all aspects of the chip development from definition to test and packaging issues.  Good understanding of the physical design flow and any prior design experience with Ethernet switch design, embedded and external DDR memory design, encryption/decryption algorithm etc., would be a big plus.

    Required/Technical Skills:
  • M.S/M.Tech in CE or EE required
  • PhD preferable with eight or more years of direct experience in a technology
            driven semiconductor environment
  • Substantial experience in high-speed system design and multi-million gate ASICs
  • Familiarity with all the standard fab/tool flows
  • Previous experience taping out various ASICs of substantial complexity preferably
            in high-speed communications and networking
  • Proven ability to set and meet product deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Verilog, Perl, C, PLI & Synthesis tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
